In 2011 SAC continued to provide hospital and physician partners with efficiencies to help streamline their case loads. Using Quantum Clinical Navigation System™, SAC’s proprietary perioperative quality assurance software, SAC measured 100,775 cases from January 1 through October 31, 2011. Unplanned case cancellations and anesthesia late metrics were all far below industry standards as reported by National benchmarks derived from “Evidence Based Practice of Anesthesiology,” Institute of Medicine and Medline.
