June 1, 2009 (CHARLOTTE, N.C.) – Gerard “Jerry” Ippolito has joined the team at Southeast Anesthesiology Consultants. Ippolito is the new director of perioperative services and pain management business development. Regarded as one of the nation’s leaders mediating relations between hospitals and physicians, Ippolito has specific expertise in developing hospitals’ surgical programs, increasing surgical case volume and developing anesthesiology programs.
Ippolito has been in healthcare administration for 30 years as both a healthcare business management consultant and medical group practice administrator. Before coming to Southeast, he was the president of OR Efficiencies, LLC, in Naples, Fla. He earned his MHSA from The George Washington University and his BA from Cornell University.
