Corporate Medical Director, American Anesthesiology
of the Southeast - Joshua S. Miller, MD

Dr. Joshua Miller earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. His residency was in anesthesiology at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Following his residency he completed a fellowship in pain management, also at Wake Forest. He is double board certified in anesthesiology and pain management. In 1990, Miller joined Southeast Anesthesiology Consultants and has served on the executive committee since 1992. Prior to his appointment as corporate medical director, he was the medical director for Southeast Pain Care, a specialty sub-practice of Southeast Anesthesiology, for over twenty years.

Practice Director - American Anesthesiology
of the Southeast - Amy C. Hampton, MBA

Amy earned her undergraduate degree in Health Policy & Administration from The Pennsylvania State University and her Master of Business Administration from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Kenan-Flagler Business School. Prior to joining American Anesthesiology, Amy was the Vice President of Operations for Emergency Medicine Physicians (EMP) in Canton, OH, and served Piedmont Emergency Medicine Associates (PEMA) as the group Practice Administrator before PEMA merged with EMP in 2010. Amy brings over 10 years of healthcare research, operations, and practice management experience to the Practice Director position.

Southeast Pain Administrator – Amy Mottola-Camodeca MBA/MHA
Amy recently joined Southeast Anesthesiology as the Practice Administrator over the Southeast Pain Group. Amy comes to the group with over 15 years’ experience in the healthcare arena serving both in the clinical setting as a Radiation Therapist and as a Director over Oncology services lines. Amy earned her undergraduate degree in Radiation Biology from the University of Vermont and an MBA/MHA from Benedictine University’s School of Graduate Business and Allied Health. Prior to joining South East Anesthesiology and Pain, Amy served in clinical/administrative leadership positions at both Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Marketing – Kristen Bostedo-Conway
Kristen Bostedo-Conway is a Marketing Executive in the Charlotte, NC area with more than 12 years of brand management, direct marketing, and new media experience. Bostedo-Conway is the recipient of the 2011 eHealthcare Leadership Award for best, integrated marketing campaign and the 2007 Exhibitor All Star Award in addition to many other local and regional marketing and communication honors. She has written articles for the marketing trade publication Exhibitor Magazine, and recently co-authored (with Dr. John McArthur) a research study presented at the National Communication Association’s 2011 Convention in New Orleans, LA entitled: An exploration of the relationship between Twitter use and student perception of teacher behaviors. The research study has also been accepted for publication in the International Journal of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education.

Credentialing – Barbara Waltman
Waltman joined Southeast Anesthesiology Consultants, P.A. in August 2008 as Credentialing Department Supervisor. She has over 20 years in healthcare management including eight years as Senior Credentialing Coordinator and Education Coordinator of The Sanger Clinic in Charlotte, NC. Prior to joining Southeast Anesthesiology Consultants, Waltman planned accredited physician medical education conferences for Carolinas Cardiovascular and Heart Institute, Lung Tumor Conference and Pediatric Cardiovascular Conference through Carolinas Healthcare System. She has owned her own medical management consulting business, taught medical ethics and medical terminology to medical assistant students and managed several healthcare facilities throughout her career.
